To maintain or exceed budgeted occupancy using sales and marketing strategies which encourage applications and move-ins to the retirement community.

Reports to:

Executive Director/Regional Director of Sales

Supervises:

Marketing Coordinator and Residency Counselor (if applicable)

Essential FunctionsResponding to inquires:Develop, recommend and maintain policies and procedures for inquiries, admissions, and assignment of residences.Respond in a timely and effective way to all inquiries for residency.Follow-up with prospects as often as necessary to facilitate a decision to move-in.Respond to requests for presentations from community groups.Evaluate prospects:Evaluate medical applications for appropriateness and work closely with medical staff to verify qualifications.Evaluate financial applications for appropriateness and work closely with accounting staff to verify qualifications.Schedule appointments for tours and presentations.Maintain an appropriate waiting list for living units when necessary.Facilitate necessary paperwork and move-in procedure:Sign contracts with qualified applicants.Collect necessary paperwork from prospective residents.Set closing dates within guidelines.Assist future residents with the transition to the community.Facilitate move-ins and all communications necessary during the moving process with future residents and staff.Evaluate marketing and sales procedures on a regular basis.Maintain and update records and report results:Maintain Aline database with regard to basic information as well as ongoing communications with prospects.Report all sales and marketing activities on a weekly and monthly basis.Create, update and maintain accurate files on all applicants and future residents.Monitor and report effectiveness of corporate marketing strategies.Misc:Plan and execute events that introduce prospective residents to community lifestyle.

This will include off campus networking opportunities.Work with VP of Marketing and Regional Director of Sales to establish budgetary requirements.Complete quarterly competitive analysis and update marketing plan.Monitor and maintain adequate supply of brochures and application forms etc.Collaborate with corporate marketing in the development of all promotional materials.Stay current with regard to industry education and developments.Is aware of Presbyterian Homes Corporate Compliance policies including those having to do with confidentiality and security of information, and concern for the well being of residents and patients. Demonstrates behaviors and completes work in a manner consistent with these policies.Responsible to use computers and software as required by work environment in order to enhance communications, performance and knowledge.Education:Bachelor’s degree with focus in marketing, communications or related field of studyExperience:Five or more years of sales experience. Experience in senior’s housing a plusQualifications:Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized and goal oriented. Patience and a genuine desire to problem solve a plus.Interacts with:Prospective residents and family members, staff, board members and the general public.Salary:Commensurate with ability and experience.
