As Editorial Director, Branded Content, you will be tasked with efficiently building, growing, and scaling this company’s nascent content arm. You’ll play a critical role in bringing this iconic brand to life for millions of followers. You will own and help elevate the brand’s voice across all platforms by developing a best-in-class approach to content that drives engagement within the company’s growing community. To achieve measurable success, you’ll collaborate with the brand, product, and analytics teams. Plus, you’ll get to build out your own growing team of editors and strategists pitching and executing compelling story ideas.This is a really huge, well-compensated opportunity that will be molded around you: you will have ample room to create, innovate, and spread your editorial wings like never before. Post-pandemic, the ideal scenario would be hybrid, commuting to either the Boston or New York City office one or two days per week. You’re also an operator – you’re able to successfully run a lean editorial team. You have 10+ years of experience leading a content team to success. Perhaps you’ve worked for lifestyle platforms in the past, covering travel, entertainment, hotels, fashion, food and beverage, nightlife … you get the point. You have the bona fides to create a new, differentiated lifestyle-focused site from scratch. Voice, tone, and point of view are a must! You have a deep commitment and proven track record of developing an equitable and inclusive team culture.
