Software Development Engineer in Test, Video Applications The Video Applications QA team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to help test our video applications on macOS and iOS software, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Ensure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.Description:Responsible for planning, designing, maintaining, and executing test cases with minimal direction.Able to free test, without scripts and tools.Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques.Balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically.You should be comfortable with ambiguity and with making educated, critical judgments in the absence of complete requirements.Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in video technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart.You should have a proven ability to ramp up quickly on both existing and new technologies.You will be in continual dialogue with Engineering and Design as products evolve, and you will need to have compassion for users so you can effectively advocate on their behalf.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related work experience.3-5 years experience as a SDET or Software QA Engineer.Understanding of SDLC and SQA methodologies and practices such as planning, requirements analysis, testing, and deployment.Inquisitive and able to investigate and debug difficult software issues.Knowledge of Film/Video Editing, Motion Graphics, or Visual Effects workflows.Proficient in iOS and macOS.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
