This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight.

As a part of our dedicated and diverse team, you will have a significant impact on the Engines business unit and will contribute to building a world-class team by directly influencing organizational and operational excellence. We are seeking a talented individual to apply their expertise, leadership, and integration skills to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is a prerequisite for this role. This position will be based at our Business Unit headquarters in Renton, Washington, working closely with the Engine Design Office leadership team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide dedicated support to the VP of Engine Design Office and collaborate closely with the leadership team

Lead the Engines Design Office Management Operating System and drive strategy and operational excellence

Plan and manage team meetings, including All Hands, and drive internal communications and team connections

Identify organizational gaps, recommend solutions, and foster cross-group collaboration and synergies

Collaborate with leaders to set and track business goals and drive cross-team process improvements

Synergize business operation and implement business operation changes within Engines Design Office, including talent management and knowledge management

Own and execute a Knowledge Management roadmap

Collaborate with Internal Communications to develop a strategy for effective and engaging internal communication

Demonstrate discretion and professionalism while addressing sensitive business and organizational issues with the Leadership Team

Ensure a positive on-boarding experience, continuous training programs, and effective internal communications

Collaborate with the EDO VP, Human Resources Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition to ensure organizational health and workforce align with business objectives, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talent

Lead special projects, including the design and delivery of high-impact, cross-team projects to meet the evolving business environment

Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to effectively lead extensive cross-group and cross-boundary coordination at all levels

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

History of demonstrating a wide range of analytical capabilities

Ability to develop compelling internal presentations, customer-facing content, and comprehensive business review materials

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business)

10+ years of experience working directly with engineering, HR, recruiting, operations, and stakeholders

5+ years of experience as a people manager

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and simultaneously work across multiple levels and organizational interfaces

Knowledge and strong fundamentals in project management approaches and techniques

Experience leading and managing small teams on fast-paced projects

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with organizational design, general finance acumen, and operations

Experience with various forms and levels of communication (written, verbal, executive, cross-functional, etc.)

Compensation range for on site A applicants is $151,109-$211,552

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.
