Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide dedicated support to the VP of Engine Design Office and collaborate closely with the leadership teamLead the Engines Design Office Management Operating System and drive strategy and operational excellencePlan and manage team meetings, including All Hands, and drive internal communications and team connectionsIdentify organizational gaps, recommend solutions, and foster cross-group collaboration and synergiesCollaborate with leaders to set and track business goals and drive cross-team process improvementsSynergize business operation and implement business operation changes within Engines Design Office, including talent management and knowledge managementOwn and execute a Knowledge Management roadmapCollaborate with Internal Communications to develop a strategy for effective and engaging internal communicationDemonstrate discretion and professionalism while addressing sensitive business and organizational issues with the Leadership TeamEnsure a positive on-boarding experience, continuous training programs, and effective internal communicationsCollaborate with the EDO VP, Human Resources Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition to ensure organizational health and workforce align with business objectives, including hiring, developing, and retaining top talentLead special projects, including the design and delivery of high-impact, cross-team projects to meet the evolving business environmentMinimum Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to effectively lead extensive cross-group and cross-boundary coordination at all levelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHistory of demonstrating a wide range of analytical capabilitiesAbility to develop compelling internal presentations, customer-facing content, and comprehensive business review materialsBachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business)10+ years of experience working directly with engineering, HR, recruiting, operations, and stakeholders5+ years of experience as a people managerDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive information and simultaneously work across multiple levels and organizational interfacesKnowledge and strong fundamentals in project management approaches and techniquesExperience leading and managing small teams on fast-paced projectsMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with organizational design, general finance acumen, and operationsExperience with various forms and levels of communication (written, verbal, executive, cross-functional, etc.)Compensation range for WA applicants is $151,109-$211,552
