Want to make an application Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.Pay Range: $70,850 to $88,550 per year.This role works remotely in California.The Marketing Associate is responsible for the management of the Premium Ready to Cook (RTC) branded and private label Organic and No Antibiotics Ever product lines in alignment with the overall business unit and company strategy. This individual will be the key contributor in the achievement of the annual financial objectives and long-term strategic plan with heavy emphasis on helping us grow our Chicken business. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for initiating and executing business building projects involving private label and branded product launches, promotions, trade and consumer communications, research, new product development, and packaging design. The person will collaborate across the organization to execute initiatives and deliver objectives and will support the RTC Brand Manager with actionable analysis of financial reporting, syndicated data, and competitive products.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Lead/execute product launches for both private label and branded initiativesAnalyze financial reports, syndicated data, competitive activity, consumer research, etc. and provide insights to RTC Brand Manager and cross-functional team membersTrack overall fresh business performance on delivering revenue, volume, and profit goals, tying together external market trends, IRI, and internal shipment data. Support and provide insights on premium performance at the customer levelCoordinate with Product Management and the Sales team in the planning of opportunities relative to the raising of birds, usage of meat, and scheduling of plantsCollaborate directly with retailers and field sales for key customer initiativesLead quality for fresh chicken coordinating insights and standardization for operational excellenceEnsure accurate product specifications and graphics between internal and external customer systemsManage RTC budget including tracking and forecasting marketing spend needsSupport consumer communications planning and creationContribute to annual brand plan objectives and strategiesInnovation support to bring new products to market

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldMinimum 2-3 years of experience with demonstrated experience in an analytical positionExcellent attention to detailExcellent skills in Microsoft Excel and proficient in Syndicated Data Tools, ERP SoftwareExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, such as corporate executives, sales personnel, plant & production team, etc.Demonstrated excellence in project management and organizational skillsExcellent presentation skills with both large and small audiencesAbility to build relationships and accomplish tasks through othersMust be located in CaliforniaPreferred Requirements:3 years of experience in a marketing role at a food / CPG manufacturer, or other equivalent work experienceExcellent project management skills and cross-functional leadershipStrong grasp of CPG and brand management fundamentalsExperience managing consumer promotion and communication budgetsSolid understanding of financial reporting, syndicated data, and consumer research results
