About the role: Network Design & Optimization (NDO) is a highly cross-functional, strategic, and instrumental function within Gatik. The team is responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining networks / routes for Gatik’s Autonomous Vehicles (AVs). The NDO team provides the critical link between business and technical functions within Gatik. The team collaborates across various functions including Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Product. We are looking for an individual to become an integral part of this team.

The individual will work across functions and enable the NDO team in meeting its broad mandate.In this role, your learning, growth, and responsibility will be directly influenced by you. We are a small yet highly effective team where ownership, collaboration, and communication skills are highly desired. If you are such an individual, we'd love to talk to you.This role is 5 days a week at our Mountain View, CA office location!What you'll do:
Collaborate with a team of business, technical, product, and operations individuals to design and optimize Gatik’s Autonomous Networks.Drive the implementation and scaling of tools, capabilities, and processes necessary to achieve goals of the NDO team.Lead end-to-end projects within Gatik and external stakeholders to collect and compile information in support of business strategy and operations.Structure complex problems, analyze large amounts of data, and deliver insights and recommendations to the Gatik leadership team.Explain business requirements to technical team members and ensure product development alignment with team vision and goalsConduct research and analysis of industry, company, customer, and channel data to support market assessment and identification of key trends / opportunities.Communicate analysis and recommendations to stakeholders including external senior executives by preparing presentations and identifying actionable insightsPerform quantitative analyses, including the development of Excel models, to evaluate and implement strategic optionsWhat we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data, product management, or a related science disciplineMBA (preferred)6+ years of work experience in a strategic, analytical, and/or customer-facing roleConsulting, Banking, and/or a start-up experience (preferred)Hands-on experience problem-solving and implementing scalable solutions to complex problems within a rapidly changing environmentProven ability to analyze data, develop creative solutions, and make sound decisions under pressureExcellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Data analytics toolsData modeling / scripting skills with VBA / Python (preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levelsComfortable managing ambiguity, ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting demandsMore about Gatik: With headquarters in Mountain View, CA, and offices in Canada, Texas, and Arkansas.
