POSITION SUMMARY

Steamboat is looking for a new Product Marketing Manager. This position is responsible for driving demand of in-resort products from Steamboat guests. They will bridge the gap between all departments to the marketing team to enhance the guest experience. They will use a thorough knowledge of the guest, data, and business strategies to achieve marketing and business goals. This position requires residency within the Yampa Valley.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Partner with all in-resort lines of business (Lodging, SnowSports School, Rental/Retail, Air, Activities, etc.) to build and execute on strategic marketing plansCollaborate with Brand Marketing Manager and Marketing team on incorporating product messaging and campaigns into all channels, in a guest-first mentalityMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of product performance, partnering closely with the Revenue Management and Yield teamsPartner with Analytics Manager to determine business and product performance and distill guest insights to deliver to line of business and marketing teamsBe a strong leader on the Marketing team, contributing on all topics and showing up as a teammate when neededCompliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirementsOther duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Product Marketing Manager must have a thorough understanding of business strategies and priorities, as well as team and budget resources to manage expectations, deliverables, and the approach5 or more years of experience in marketing, communications, or business requiredCandidate will need the ability to solve problems and identify the nature of any problems or issues through analysisCandidate must have strong marketing acumen, understanding what motivates guests and ultimately drives demandExceptional strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies based on business needs, consumer insights, and guest dataMust have strong computer skillsAbility to build productive cross-functional relationships to business goalsAbility to manage projects independently, handling multiple tasks and assignments simultaneouslyStrong organizational and project management skills, keen attention to detail and proven follow throughMust have a passion for outdoor sports and resort activitiesInteract and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standardsEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate Degree required in related field (Marketing, Communications, Business, or similar)The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives.

Steamboat area base salary range: $68,000- $78,000 per year

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18 year of age or olderMust be able to lift and carry up to 40lbsMust be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions when appropriateAbility to ski or ride at an intermediate level is preferredCommunicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
