Position description:The Seattle Aquarium, a leading marine conservation organization, is looking for a Marketing Campaign Manager to join the Marketing and Communications team. As a campaign manager, you will plan, execute, and manage integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, guest attendance, memberships, and other organizational objectives. You will be responsible for overall campaign design and management, including market research if needed, target audience segmentation, strategic planning, content management, digital marketing campaign performance, and tactical recommendations. You will also collaborate with internal, cross-functional teams and/or external agencies and partners.

You will work with a diverse and talented team, leverage diverse marketing tools and technologies, and contribute to developing impactful marketing campaigns that help us achieve our mission of inspiring conservation of our one ocean.

If this resonates with you, we encourage you to apply.Key functions:Develop strategic, integrated marketing campaigns that meet Aquarium brand and attendance objectives within budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing assets that align with the brand's tone and positioning.Analyze guest insights and other research to identify target audience segments, preferences, needs, and behaviors.Track campaign performance, analyze data and metrics, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.Leverage digital marketing channels to maximize campaign reach and engagement., identifying and spearheading growth in regional underrepresented and multilingual channels. Ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with the Aquarium's S.A.L.I.S.H. and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) values. All Aquarium staff and volunteers are expected to participate in advancing and integrating into their work Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Regenerative practices in alignment with our S.A.L.I.S.H. Values.Ideate, plan, and implement comprehensive campaign strategies and timelines, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to develop visually appealing, culturally responsive, and impactful marketing assets and ensure timely and cost-effective campaign completion.Implement tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and measure ROI and demographic reach whenever possible.Prepare and present campaign reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the results, key learning, and recommendations.Identify and recommend opportunities for campaign improvements and implement strategic adjustments as needed.Stay updated with the marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to drive campaign innovation.Other duties as assigned as appropriate for the level and function of the position.Knowledge and skills:Excellent knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media platforms, email marketing software, post schedulers, and web analytic tools.Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign development, and diverse marketing channels.Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.Efficient project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Consistently and proactively communicate, track, and organize work to keep self on track and others informedProficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Office.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Preference for multilingual and English speakers with comfort and practice communicating across cultural and language barriers.Creativity and strategic thinking.A passion for the ocean, environmental justice, and strengthening community connections to conservation.Demonstrates an understanding of the Aquarium's Mission and Values, including our Equity work.

Required skills and experience:The skills and abilities listed below may be demonstrated through a combination of relevant cultural and community programs, jobs, internships, volunteer experience, and/or formal or informal education. This tenure may include work, internships, fellowships, education, community service or a combination.Proven experience in campaign management and marketing with a track record of successfully executing marketing and/or educational campaigns.Demonstrable portfolio in managing integrated marketing campaigns across online and offline channels.Working conditions:Most work is performed in a typical office setting. Private office/semi-private work area. Frequent interruptions of work. Other work areas include behind the scenes areas of our animal habitats, visiting beaches or other outdoor locations offsite. The Aquarium is a growing campus that requires frequent travel between parking, buildings and meetings and travel/walk between buildings.Salary

and benefits:

$75,000 - $86,000/year.
