What you'll do:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our industry-leading digital advertising platform. As a Senior UX Designer, you will have the opportunity to influence and enhance the experience of our core products, ensuring our customers have a seamless and intuitive journey while achieving their goals.

Champion a user-centered design approach, passionately understanding and advocating for the needs and preferences of our users.Support planning and vision on key company initiatives by collaborating with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists.Execute design concepts by creating wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes, developing intuitive and efficient user interfaces aligned with industry best practices.Transform broad, conceptual ideas into valuable user experiences that seamlessly blend functionality with visual delight.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers, to bring designs to life and ensure a cohesive experience.Own the entire design process, including interaction and visual design, for complex features and platform areas.Support the Planning and execution of usability testing sessions, gathering valuable feedback from users and iterating on designs based on user insights.Contribute to high-level strategic decisions alongside the product and executive teams.Provide precise implementation guidance to engineers, ensuring features maintain high quality and alignment with the design vision.Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system, ensuring consistency and scalability of design elements and patterns across the platform.Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our designs remain innovative and competitive.Mentor and coach junior UX designers, providing valuable guidance and support on design projects.

Who you are:

Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience7+ years of professional UX design experienceStrong design sensibility and attention to detailProficiency in Figma for design and prototypingExperience in Agile or Scrum development environmentsA complex problem-solving mindsetExperience in leading design teams or design projectsStrong experience in UX/Product DesignAbility to work with various stakeholders and uncovering/understanding their needsExcellent communication skills and the ability to make compelling and clear design presentationsAbility to lead collaborative co-creation and ideation sessions with multiple stakeholdersMapping user journeys and interactive flowsWireframing capabilities for features and contentDeep understanding of user research and testingAbility to translate insights into tangible designEnhancing the design system, building new elements and componentsAdvanced hands-on mentality and willingness to innovateData and insights analysis to determine experience success metrics & KPIsDesign Strategy and Execution

NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only: In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$237,300—$296,600 USD
