What We Need The Director, Product Marketing - Sports will lead our strategic marketing initiatives for one or more of our prestigious 2K sports titles. This leadership role requires a visionary marketer with a profound understanding of the gaming industry and a proven ability to leverage data-driven insights to shape marketing strategies. You will oversee a diverse team of marketing professionals, driving the creation and execution of innovative campaigns that captivate our target audience and propel our business objectives forward.What You Will Do

Lead the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing plans for our sports games, ensuring they align with our business unit and company’s vision and financial goals.Collaborate closely with product management, brand, and development teams to ensure marketing strategies are deeply integrated with product roadmaps and ultimately enhance the player experience.Spearhead the development of a comprehensive product strategy leveraging a deep understanding of our players’ needs and wants, aligning with development and product teams’ roadmap, vision, and goals.Oversee the management of marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across projects to achieve maximum impact and ROI.Drive the adoption of data analytics and market research to inform strategic decisions, ensuring a deep understanding of market dynamics, player behaviors, and competitive insights.Mentor and potentially manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creativity.Drive innovation within the marketing team by encouraging new ideas, creative approaches, and cutting-edge marketing technologies.Provide thought leadership on industry trends, technological advancements, and marketing best practices in our sector.Establish robust metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, adjusting strategies based on performance data and market feedback.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and support for marketing activities.What Will Make You a Great Fit

Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing within the video gaming, technology or entertainment industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated success in leading marketing campaigns for high-profile products, with a strong portfolio of successful launches.Expertise in data analytics, market research, and consumer insights to drive strategic decision-making.Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, inspire, and manage a high-performing marketing team.Strong business acumen, with experience in budget management, forecasting, and performance analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Deep passion for sports and gaming, with a thorough understanding of the gaming community and market trends.In this pivotal role, the Director - Product Marketing, Sports* will be instrumental in driving the success of our sports titles, ensuring they resonate with players and achieve our business objectives.
