About The Role

CloudBees is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Product Marketing to drive the strategic vision and execution of product and growth marketing initiatives in alignment with our business objectives. This requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record and passion for driving growth and market expansion, developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to accelerate product adoption and drive revenue growth. This role will oversee our Product Marketing and Growth Marketing teams and report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer.

What You’ll Do:

Product Positioning and Go-to-Market Strategy:

Develop and execute product marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives.Collaborate with product management to understand product features, benefits, and differentiation to create compelling value propositions.Lead the development of go-to-market plans for new products/features, and updates in collaboration with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing.Define, and execute product positioning and messaging strategies that resonate with target audiences and differentiate CloudBees' solutions in the marketplace.

Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:

Conduct market research, gather competitive intelligence, and analyze market trends to inform product strategies and identify opportunities for growth.Utilize data-driven insights to guide product development and marketing decisions as well as optimize customer acquisition channels and improve conversion rates.

Marketing Campaign Messaging and Content:

Develop and oversee the messaging of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, demand generation, and customer acquisition.Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content, collateral, and sales enablement materials aligned with product positioning.

Sales Enablement and Support:

Enable the sales team with effective tools, training, and resources to effectively communicate product value propositions, features, and benefits to prospects and customers.Work closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and sales efforts, optimizing the sales funnel and driving revenue growth.

Customer Acquisition and Retention:

Develop and implement growth marketing strategies (content, community, campaigns) to acquire new self-serve customers and retain existing ones.Utilize data-driven insights to optimize customer acquisition channels and improve conversion rates.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Closely collaborate with sales, product management, and other key stakeholders to align product roadmaps with marketing strategies and ensure synergy in marketing efforts.Provide insights to the product team based on market feedback and competitive analysis.

Team Leadership:

Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing product marketing and growth marketing team.Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing department.

Performance Measurement and Analytics:

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Utilize data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and make informed decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.15+ years’ experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or related leadership role.Proven Track record of success in driving product adoption and revenue growth.Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth revenue targets.Exceptional leadership and team management skills.Proven success in building, leading and managing global teams by fostering a high-performance, collaborative and results driven culture.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Strong strategic thinking and vision, coupled with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans that drive growth and market success.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.This role may require occasional travel to CloudBees' global offices, customer sites, and industry events.Deep understanding of DevOps, cloud-native solutions, and software development practices.
