As the first Product Marketing Lead, you will spearhead positioning, messaging, go-to-market and adoption of new and existing products.

Expectations (In this role, you will):

Drive collaboration across functions (marketing, product, sales, operations, etc.) towards growing the adoption of Mudflap products and featuresDevelop customer and competitive insights, positioning and messaging, persona development, GTM planning, and sales enablementEnsure cross-functional readiness for rollouts by equipping Mudflap teams with customer-facing information and collateralStructure the product brand architecture to help align a growing portfolioEnsure that our customer-facing communications are always up-to-date with the most relevant product positioning and messagingOwn competitive tracking to ensure Mudflap is well-positioned and differentiated in the marketInspire and generate excitement for the products across multiple mediums

Experience (What we look for):

8+ years of hands-on experience in product marketing, at least 3 of which should be at a high-growth technology companyExperience marketing to prosumers and SMB customersA proven track record working with cross functional teams and developing rapport across product, marketing, sales, operations, and supportDeep customer and competitive insights experience. You can gather quantitative and qualitative data to inform the insights that drive your product marketing recommendationsHands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets including on-message product explainers, demo videos, sales pitch-decks, etc.Proven track record of exceptional performance in a fast-paced environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlinesSuperb attention to detail. Able to communicate impeccably, verbally and in writing

The salary range for this role is $153,000 - $207,000. This information reflects a base salary range for this position based on current market data, which may be subject to change as new market data becomes available. The candidate's skills, experience, and other relevant factors will determine the exact compensation. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards or short-term incentives. Our benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, WFH stipend and PTO.
