In every project, from cups to cities, we unite people through extraordinary places and experiences.RIOS has an immediate opening for Senior Project Designer/Architect that is committed to the creation, development, and mentorship of outstanding design excellence from concept through execution, with particular expertise in interior architecture.The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Following SkillsExhibits a unique design perspective and commitment to Design Excellence, with strong design skills, a passion for innovation, and an eye for detailAbility to engage in and mentor all forms of ideationDemonstrated success in interior architecture (commercial, hospitality, residential)Strong communication skills including the ability to develop and present concepts with clients, larger project teams, and consultantsAbility to understand workflow between interdisciplinary teamsWorking knowledge of how to guide all phases of design including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and InstallationStrong organizational skillsA high degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and resourcefulnessExperience in developing FF&E packages including budget development and custom furniture design a plusExperience in material sourcing and specification, visual research, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, in addition to maintaining budgets and project timelinesExperience in creating project documentation including the submission of a full drawing set, specification writing, schedules, and construction administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response, and consultant coordination)RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Minimum 10+ years of professional interior architecture / design experienceBachelor or Master's of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture or Interior DesignHigh proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Rhino, Revit, BluebeamLanguage proficiency in at least 1 language (other than English) used in South-east Asia and Asia Pacifica a plusLicensure is a plus
