Kelly Wearstler is looking for a Junior Interior Designer, FF&E with experience in private residential projects, luxury hospitality, and restaurants to join our team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is collaborative, and can contribute to ongoing projects.DUTIESCollaborate and interface seamlessly with the designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projectsResponsible for supporting the process on material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, mood board creation, furniture sourcing, graphic and visual presentations, while adhering to fast-paced project timelinesDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE1-4 years of experience in interiors or architecture and a degree from an accredited schoolPassion for design and an eye for detailExcellent 2D drawing and rendering abilityWorking knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and InstallationProficiency in AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Rhino, and Microsoft Office Suite3D modeling and realistic rendering skills would be a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design teamThis position is based full-time in Los Angeles.BASE SALARY$65,000-$70,000Please send all resumes and portfolios to nmoore@.
