Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Kelly Wearstler is looking for a very talented Architectural Designer with experience in luxury hotels, restaurants, and high-end residential projects. As an Architectural Designer, you will participate in all project phases and own production of relevant documentation to execute design at a high level. You should be proficient in AutoCAD, Rhino, or Revit, have a knowledge of materials, assemblies, and best practices for interior details and construction. Experience in construction administration and some history of completed work is a plus.
Duties
- Work collaboratively across multiple design projects end-to-end across luxury hospitality, commercial, and high-end residential; own specific work streams end to end within each project.
- Develop drawing and specification packages, and produce accurate documentation as needed in schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
- Coordinate with FF&E and various design teams to produce plans, elevations, and details to ensure design intent is incorporated into documentation packages.
- Assist with material selection, produce specifications, and review contractor submittals for conformance to design intent.
- Participate in project coordination, construction administration, site visits, and maintain quality control during construction as needed.
- Collaborate seamlessly with clients, as well as other designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5+ years relevant experience with Interior Design/Architecture education and background.
- Strong management skills with the ability to multitask, all from design inception to completion in all design phases.
- Refined production skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, and/or Revit.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in construction administration is a plus.
