We are looking for driven individuals to join our team and help Spark grow!Position Summary:We are looking for a social media guru who excels at cultivating social media followings and promoting clients' brands. This role will analyze engagement data, identify trends in customer interactions, support social content strategy and development, and plan digital campaigns to build communities online.Responsibilities:Initiate development of strategy and execute a results-driven strategy for client social presence, supporting Social Media ManagerManage multiple editorial and content calendars to create social content that is in-line with brand messaging, tone, and voice and appropriate for the platform at hand, making strategic recommendations when possibleRecommend creative for clients that adheres to brand identity and up-levels social media and assist in the creation and editing of written, video and photo content for client channels as neededMonitor social media channels for industry trends and make recommendations for changes as dictated by changing industryMaintain a unified brand voice across different social media channelsProficient in Canva, able to create social media graphics for clients when needed at a high levelCommunicate with fans and followers, adhering to brand-specific protocols as it relates to moderation, escalation, and resolutionTake the lead in analytics and listening tools (Google Analytics, SEMRush & Meltwater) to create reports for clients reflecting Social Media performance on weekly/monthly/quarterly cadences on assigned accountsTrack Social Media KPIs monthly and analyze performance against top marketing goals to improve the content strategyContribute to new business efforts for Spark including research, creating slides, and brainstorming new ideasSuccessfully manage remote work, scheduling, and internal communications (email, Slack, team meetings, etc)Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesProactive self-starter who offers ideas and/or problem solves alongside the teamEffectively coordinate and work both up and down within teamsAttends trainings and workshops; eager to learnTrack client billable time dailyPrerequisitesProficient in MeltwaterUnderstanding of content distribution channels for B2B and B2C brands and their associated metrics, specs, best practices, and requirements including media outlets, social media platforms, and ad platformsExpertise in and enthusiasm for social media and community building online, including in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, market trends, best practices, content development and metrics, and tools of the tradeBachelor's degree2-3 years of experience in social mediaProven competency in taking client needs and creating successful social media strategies and campaignsPrevious proven experience managing content and copy for a range of online mediumsStrong creative writing, researching, and editing skillsWillingness to handle executional work like ongoing content development and community managementFlexibility and comfort working with a remote team in a fast-paced, always-on, agency/start-up environment and scheduleSuperb project and time management skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining constant communication with larger team and clientsExtra Points for Experience in the Following Areas:Experience managing large-scale community management/social monitoring programsBackground developing, managing, and optimizing paid social campaignsCreative design skillsInfluencer marketing experienceBroader content marketing experienceTech & Agency experienceExpertise with enterprise level social media platforms such as Sprout Social and SprinklrWhy Work At Spark?Remote Work FlexibilityCompetitive and Flexible Paid Vacation PolicySparkpr covers 95-100% of health, dental, and vision for our employees.You can also count on a company-managed 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, and monthly cell phone subsidies.About SparkFrom startups to Fortune 20 members, Spark specializes in helping technology-focused and innovation-minded companies transform their brands by bringing powerful narratives to life through public relations and integrated marketing programs.The agency’s full suite of services includes content and social development, programmatic distribution and other forms of paid media, and data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and measure go-to-market plans.
