Senior Manager, Stadium and Motion Graphics The Manager, Motion Graphics & Live Event Creative oversees, manages, and creates high-end broadcast quality content for all large format videoboards and LED ribbon boards at Levi’s Stadium for 49ers home games and Marketing live events. This position is a key driver in visual storytelling for all Game Presentation & Live Events creative, including the team’s annual Media Day content capture. In addition, the Manager, Motion Graphics & Live Event Creative provides graphic support on game days in the control room, overseeing live and pre-produced in-game graphics.

Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Responsibilities and Duties:Designs, creates, and produces captivating and industry-leading 2D and 3D motion graphics, from concept to completion, for large format LED displays and traditional broadcast specifications that effectively enhance the fan experience at all 49ers home games and Marketing events.Manages, oversees, collaborates, and develops creative, video, and graphics for all game day elements including show open, entertainment team open, player headshots, interstitials, music videos and branded content including marketing and partnership elements.Conceptualize, design, and transform briefs and concepts into highly effective content and motion graphic animations.Collaborates on weekly tasks as part of managing the overall production list for home games and team Marketing events, ensuring tasks are completed on time, reviewed, and delivered to spec.Collaborates on delivery, ingest, conversion, and distribution of all graphics/content as required for games and team Marketing events and shows.Works with other Marketing team members to ensure all Game Presentation and Live Event creative and motion graphics align with goals, timelines, brand standards, and current campaigns.Oversees XPression graphics package from conception to execution, providing direction to designers, programmers, and game/event operators.Logs, tracks, and communicates current projects as performed.Works with the Marketing team to support broader department goals, communicate new ideas, and build templates to assist with efficiencies in workflow.Actively participates in creative planning and brainstorming sessions, fostering a sense of teamwork and shared success.Attends, participates in, and/or leads weekly department meetings to communicate updates and new ideas.Maintains and follows best practices for versioning control, naming convention, and organization of files.Stay up to date with current design trends, techniques, and technologies to remain on the leading edge in live entertainment production, ensuring fresh and relevant content/creative.Other duties as assigned.Required Abilities and Skills:High level of creativity, originality, and innovation in producing video content and motion graphic elements, with the ability to see alternatives and solutions.Strong understanding of video production specs, codecs, and media asset management.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced live event/production environment.Possess excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality, accurate work within designated deadlines, highly self-motivated with a shared commitment to excellence.Ability to initiate, design, plan, execute, monitor and evaluate outcomes of a project or initiative.Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple or competing tasks in a high-energy environment.Ability to lead people through processes towards agreed-upon objectives in a manner that encourages participation, ownership and creativity by all those involved.Ability to create a relationship of trust and loyalty by delivering accessible, efficient, and reliable services and products for internal and external stakeholders.Education and Experience:At least 5-7 years of progressive experience with motion graphics and editing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Advanced Experience with 3D animation programs such as Cinema 4D, including modeling, texturing, lighting, animating, use of dynamics, MoGraph, render optimization, Redshift render engine, etc.Extremely proficient with Adobe After Effects and able to design and animate quickly in both 2D and 3D.Proven experience as a motion graphics designer and editor for large format LED displays within the sports and entertainment industry, a plus.Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Media Encoder, Illustrator, In-Design and Lightroom.Experience with game day production tools such as Ross Xpression, Daktronics Show Control.Experience with Cinema and DSLR cameras, specifically the Sony platform, is a plus.Experience with broadcast real-time graphics is a plus.Experience with pre-production, equipment, shooting, and editing.Experience with compositing, rotoscoping, and other post-production techniques.Experience with project tracking tools such as Wrike.Proficient with Mac and PC operating systems and Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets).Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.Physical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
