As the

Director of Tour Marketing :

What you'll do:

Create, produce, and manage budgets for TV shows, promotional tours, artist special events, showcases and tour support.

Negotiate vendor rates, set up studio rehearsals, vocal training, movement coaches, glam rates, advances & backend payments.

Artist scheduling and promotional activities.

Extensive travel planning, artist logistics and assisting with tour routing around promo actives for album release, week of release, single release, special projects, one off events and RCA lead initiatives and charities.

Maintain multiple artist calendars and scheduling across all record label departments and artist teams.

Oversee and purchase Covid tests, concierge testing and liaison with award shows on Covid compliance.

Supervise and maintain vendor relationships, assist with hiring of staff, drivers, and promo reps in multiple markets.

Budgeting: create the budget for promo tours, oversee tour budgets and approved 75/25 % splits for agreed upon tour support, and TV appearance budgets. Work closely with business managers, managers, and our Sony finance team so we stay within the approved budget.

Invoicing & payment: The department handles all the invoicing and payments. Nora handles all follow up with vendors and clearing payments. Touring is responsible for building out PO’s and vendor maintenance. Managing the vendors can be the most time consuming prosses. Working with finance to cover back-end payments and closing out budgets.

Who you are:

1 year experience in a similar function, preferable but not necessary

Ability to interact with all levels of executives

Passionate about music

Discreet when dealing with Artists

Excellent people skills
