With strong financial backing from top-tier investors, they are poised to make a significant global impact and scale rapidly.Job Summary:As the first marketing hire, the Director of Growth Marketing will play a pivotal role in building and leading the marketing function from the ground up. This role focuses on driving digital marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on growth, branding, and PR within the climate tech sector. The Director will develop and execute strategies to attract and retain environmentally conscious customers, helping to grow the business.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy tailored to the climate tech industry.Allocate marketing budget to maximize ROA for customer acquisition and conversion.Oversee digital performance marketing on platforms like Google, LinkedIn, email, and expand to YouTube, IG, and TikTok and other channels.Enhance and maintain consistent and impactful branding and messaging aligned with climate tech values.Identify and pursue PR opportunities to increase brand visibility and credibility within the climate tech community.Plan and execute activations to engage and attract eco-conscious customers.Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to optimize campaigns and strategies.Collaborate with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with overall business goals and climate tech mission.Build and lead a marketing team as the company scales.Qualifications:Proven experience in a senior marketing role with a focus on growth and performance marketing, preferably within the climate tech sector.Experience growing businesses and building marketing functions from the ground up.Knowledge of AI tools and the latest technologies relevant to climate tech.Strong understanding of email marketing, SEO, SEM, and media ad purchasing.Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions.Strong leadership and project/time management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and frequently changing environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience leading or having high execution responsibilities in growth or marketing teams for climate tech startups.Strong passion for and commitment to climate tech solutions.Join a visionary team with a world-changing product and robust financial backing to drive sustainable innovation and make a real impact on the future of clean water.
