We are looking for a Technical Designer for Active Sportswear, Athleisure and Sports Bras for a leading lifestyle brand. This is a freelance position and operates onsite in their NYC office.
Pay Rate: $46/hourResponsibilities:
Executes the technical design process from development to final fit.Analyzes and evaluates garments to develop the correct fit specifications.Ensures that products are developed in a manner consistent with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.Develops technical specifications and communicates fit to vendors / factories for approvals and corrections.Makes appropriate adjustments with factories as required to ensure the integrity of design-approved prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, or equivalent experience.7+ years experience in technical design.Excellent problem solver.Ability to maintain composure in a stressful situation.
