We are seeking a Communications Manager to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges-the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You'll Do

The Communications Manager position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong website writing, editing, and content strategy skills to support various projects on behalf of the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) and the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office. Working in partnership with a larger Communications and Marketing Services team, including content specialists, project managers, graphic designers, and more, the Communications Manager will develop and coordinate the internal and external web presence to advance the organization's goal of making higher education more accessible and affordable for all.

This role serves as the lead web content facilitator and project manager and works closely with program and partner stakeholders. The manager will play a crucial role in bridging content and marketing efforts with FoundationCCC's technical team, ensuring cohesive and effective digital communications that align with FoundationCCC's goals.

This position is a full-time, remote, exempt position that reports to and works under the guidance of the Director of Communications and Marketing Services and the Vice President of Communications and Technology.Lead the oversight and content facilitation for FoundationCCC's external facing website and intranet, ensuring they serve as effective communication tools for both internal and external audiences.Collaborate with various departments to update and optimize web content, fostering a consistent and professional digital presence.Work directly with programs and partner stakeholders to support their ability to curate department pages, ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with organizational objectives.Manage and provide leadership to a team comprising a Content Specialist and a Senior Graphic Designer, ensuring high-quality content and design output that aligns with organizational goals.Implement and monitor SEO strategies and use Google Analytics to analyze web traffic, optimizing content for maximum visibility and engagement.Attributes for Success

Ability to lead content strategy and facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.Proficient in website/CMS administration, CRM systems, data analysis, project management, UI/UX design, Adobe enterprise software, with a strong understanding of web development principles.Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences.Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.We're recruiting for mission-driven, passionate, equity-minded individuals

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:$90,000.00 - $100,000.00

Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
