The Golden Touch Group is a family owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer with a mission to deliver trend focused products for nearly 50 years. We produce private label brands for large mass market retailers across the globe specializing in children's, junior, missy and women's apparel.
This position is responsible for creating the initial specs in the Tech pack for cut/sew juniors/missy apparel for Walmart
This position also works closely with Technical Design leader and Design Team to maintain fit and construction standards
This position participates in meeting departmental goals and ensures brand integrity throughout the development process while keeping customer in mind.
Functional Responsibilities :
Attend daily handoffs. Collaborate with designers and merchants to translate fit and aesthetic details.Makes appropriate recommendations in collaboration with peer teams and supervisor on matters pertaining to specs, pattern, construction methods and techniques to improve fit, balance, and overall quality of the garment to insure the fit intent.Executes tech packs from initial to development of assigned departments/ customer accounts and additional product classifications as directed.Strong knowledge of measuring original sample and how to translate it to the customer standards.Requirements
BA/BS in Fashion Technical Design Preferred2-5+ years' experience in the apparel Industry including patternmaking experience; 2-5+ years previous Technical Design, Fashion, Design or similar industry experience.Great attention to detailsKnowledge of, pattern making, fit, balance, garment construction, fabrics and fabric performanceBlock/Sloper use and development experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skill.Excellent time management skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Working knowledge of Web based applications, i.e. PDM, PLM, FLEX PLM or comparable softwareBrowzwear 3D is a PlusWalmart experience is a Plus

Salary Range - $55K - $60K*
As a private company, Golden Touch may pay more or less than the published upper limit of the pay range based on an individual's demonstrated experience and expertise in their field. The pay ranges serve as a target and allow us to consider relevant experience, time in the role, salaries of internal peers, business sector, prior performance, and geographic location.
