JOB PURPOSE

Marketing Coordinator assists in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns including direct mail, broadcast media, print, outdoor entertainment, promotions, and other relevant marketing functions. In conjunction with the marketing team, track and analyze customer data to determine the results of campaigns, promotions, and events. Present and cultivate a positive image at the casino and in the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Understands the Players Club functions, promotions, direct mail campaigns, and other related special events; can relay the details to the casino and patrons.

2. Assists with promotions, special events, entertainment, direct mail campaigns, budget, and executes relevant tactics.

3. Assist in the development, management, and resource coordination of all promotions (including One Link Bonusing and Loyalty Kiosk), programs and special events.

4. Communicates and implements promotional programs; tracks and evaluates special events and promotions.

5. Understands and promotes the rewards and benefits of the Players Club functions, promotions, and other related special events, can relay the details to employees and patrons.

6. Assists in the overall execution of marketing strategic plans, tactics and campaigns.

7. Assists in the production print, broadcast media (TV and radio), outdoor, social media and other media tactics and deployment.

8. Assists in the execution of promotional programs, tracks and evaluates both on and off property special events and promotions.

9. Responsible for knowing and understanding the Players Club database tracking system and functionalities as it relates to player development and players club.

10. Assists with invoices, accrue outstanding invoices, work with Purchasing regarding purchase orders and ensure accuracy of items received and/or ordered.

11. Orders promotional and marketing products and materials for casino, promotions, and players club.

12. Maintains the Marketing Department promotional and marketing materials inventory in compliance with company and department policies and procedures.

13. Assists in monitoring and researching performance and provide feedback on effectiveness of direct mail campaigns, player programs, on and off property promotions, and all media (broadcast, print, and outdoor). Discover elements will include incremental/decrement impact, trends, potential increase for spend and improved performance opportunities. Develops and coordinates standard and/or custom reports including Pro- and Post-Formas for promotions, programs, special events, as required.

14. Provides superior internal and external guest service.

15. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned by Marketing Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1. Bachelors degree in marketing or in a related field. Casino/marketing experience is preferred.

2. Must be extremely numbers oriented and computer literate with superior spreadsheet skills.

3. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Office Suite) with strong aptitude for computer applications.

4. Ability to hand multiple projects concurrently with accuracy and meet deadlines.

5. Must have strong attention to detail and able to manage time effectively.

6. Must be reliable, punctual and cooperative with co-workers and managers.

7. Maintain a professional and even tempered demeanor in a high stress environment.

8. Must excel at customer service.

9. Ability to work in areas containi g high noise levels and second hand smoke.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS

1. Speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.

2. Ability to verbally communicate using appropriate English standards of language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs.

LICENSING

Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, State, Federal and/or Wyandotte Nation law.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry 50lbs in emergency situations.

2. Ability to function in a smoking environment.

3. Employee smoking is restricted to outside location and during break times.
