AT A GLANCE
We're looking for a motivated, independent, and talented designer to support our sales and brand marketing initiatives. The Associate Visual Designer position will support senior design team members in creating presentations and other branded touchpoints to reach current and potential clients, internal leadership, and the broader industry with the goal of generating new or recurring revenue. You'll support a team of Marketing, Brand, and Content Strategists on a range of projects including sales and marketing initiatives, branding, digital promotion, and thought leadership.Where You'll Be
To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on a hybrid in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our New York office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.
Address: 250 Park Avenue South, 6th FL New York, NY 10003What You'll DoWork within, and advocate for, creative standards of multiple brands, products, and marketing initiatives across the chronic condition and health and wellness spaceCollaborate with a dedicated and fast-paced design team to deliver authentic, memorable, visual storytelling approaches that connect with chronic condition, health, and wellness audiencesSupport production of templates and image libraries that allow marketers to develop materials within brand and design standards, and produce creative which maintain these standardsProvide overall design support for online/offline brand and marketing initiatives for reaching advertisers, including proposal presentations, event graphics, print and digital marketing collateral, and promotional graphics.Juggle a mix of large and small revenue-driving projects across digital, print, presentations and more, often with overlapping priority and urgencyExecute on design concepts in a collaborative environment, prep and revise files for production, and work closely with stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are metManage work tasks and cross-team collaboration using Asana, Slack, and Google DocsParticipate in team brainstorms and effectively communicate reasons behind design decisions. Be able to efficiently incorporate edits and feedback into your work.Be given the space to craft beautiful design work and be encouraged to explore and adopt new tools and practices as our brands and our team evolveWhat We're Looking ForA strong portfolio and 1+ years of experience as a multi-disciplinary visual designer; preferred focus on marketing or presentation designHighly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint, including experience creating and applying templatesExperience in Figma a plusDetail oriented, conceptual designer with outstanding layout and typography skillsMoves quickly with the ability to quickly shift between different projects and mediumsAbility to document and share perspective and process with design peers and marketing partnersAbility to execute on design concepts, prep and revise files for production process, and meet project deadlinesPossess an understanding of (and eagerness for learning about) marketing and creative strategySomeone who approaches their work with passion for their craft and empathy for our audiences, and for the teams and individuals with whom they'll collaboratePursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company.
