We are looking for a Freelance Handbag Designer for a top fashion company in New York, New York.Pay Rate: $44/hourResponsibilities:
Research and evaluate seasonal design trends.Generate tech packs for all handbag design and development.Create illustrations and technical drawings for new concepts, hardware and CADs.Correspond with factories daily during product development phase and sample follow up.Ensure all spec packages are completed accurately and on time.Update and revise existing technical specs with design changes; finalize technical specs in prep for production.Required Qualifications:
3-5+ years of handbag or accessory design experience.Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel.Able to CAD and generate technical handbag specifications.CAD proficient.Must be able to work onsiteIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
