Our Print Design team is responsible for creating original artwork and providing newness to ideas handed off from the Design team. They work hand-in-hand with all brand leads to ensure we have product that is trendy and salable.
Our ideal candidate for a Textile Print Design Assistant will be passionate about fashion, have a keen eye for trends, and have a strong ability to multi-task. Additionally, they must be able to execute on these job responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support Print Designer in creating original prints and graphics from concept through pre-production in a fast-paced environment.Communicate effectively with Print Designer, ask questions when necessary, and apply recently gained information on future projects.Research emerging print/graphic concepts and trends for inspiration with input from Print Designer.Proactively gain understanding of production constraints for factory ready artwork and repeats.Assist Designer with strike off commentsContinually practice illustration, repeats, and techniques to improve technical and brand understanding.Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in textile designDegree in Textile Design or related fieldStrong illustrative hand, painting skills & color senseWorking knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopAbility to prioritize and manage deadlinesStrong attention to detail and time management skillsMotivated self-starter with a desire to learnIdeal candidate is passionate about print design, with a great eye for color, design, and trend
