Junior Industrial Designer (Hybrid)

Location: Chicago, IllinoisJob Type: PermanentCompensation Range: $45,000 - 50,000 per yearWe are looking for a talented Junior Industrial Designer to join our client's team in Chicago! This role will be responsible for increasing the quality and speed of the Commercial Team's creative responses to briefs, inquiries, and initiatives with the capability to generate high-quality visualizations and presentations. The ideal candidate has high-quality commercial design and visualization skills with a flair for combining pragmatic engineering solutions with brand values and innovative ideas. Experience with 3D modeling is a must. Responsibilities:Develop more effective and innovative design solutions in response to client briefs, ensuring these concepts are feasible for engineering upon approval.Maintain regular and effective communication with client contacts regarding new project briefs and project progress to manage expectations and consistently deliver high service levels.Adhere to company procedures and guidelines, promoting the company's strategy and values to clients.Collaborate with Sales and Account teams in planning, organizing, and managing ongoing and ad hoc projects, providing clear interpretation of briefs and communication.Keep CRM records and client folders up-to-date for smooth handoff to engineers and other teams, ensuring compliance with VIS and brand guidelines across all teams.Qualifications:Experience level: Entry LevelMinimum 1 year of experienceEducation: BachelorsStrong interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication,Able to demonstrate a good grasp of managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration.Able to communicate at all levels of the business and understands the cultural differences that a Global Supply Chain brings. Comfortable in communicating directly with clients and understanding their needs. Not phased when challenges arise and able to clearly re-plan.
