Client Overview:
Our client is an iconic, global brand delivering classic and timeless accessories
Technical Designer Responsibilities:
• Executing the revisions to styles• Execute design techs after review with designer creates photo tech packs• Creates CADs and Techs for novelty faces with direction from Designer or Sr Design Director• Updating BOMs for all styles in PLM platform• Reviewing and commenting on all confirmation samples• Reviewing PP and TOP samples and sending clear meaningful comments• Assist manager keeping style library up to date• Making sure all comments are sent in a timely organized manner• Daily correspondence with overseas factories• Attend weekly design meetings with design and PD teams to ensure all details are clear and meeting calendar dates• Tracking of all samples
Technical Designer Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree• 2+ years of work experience• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite• Understanding of product life cycle• Team player with the ability to handle fast-paced work environment• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Detail oriented and a strategic thinker
