At Klas Government we're looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and support the Marketing and Administrative team to support company trade shows and the general office. As an Administrative and Marketing Coordinator (AMC), you will play a crucial role in providing a variety of administrative operations and trade show coordination functions.The AMC will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with company tradeshow and event needs, utilizing marketing tools for reporting and social media efforts, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver calculated solutions. This part-time position is onsite, and the candidate must be able to come into the Herndon office at least 4 days a week.Duties & Responsibilities:Administrative SupportAnswers/routing incoming calls and greets customers visiting the facility.Ensures proper visitor log-in procedures are followed to maintain compliance with facility security protocols.Processes, sorts, and distributes incoming/outgoing mail.Monitors and maintains office and kitchen supplies and snacks.Schedules repair/maintenance service calls.Coordinates catering orders, deliveries, and set ups/breakdowns.Assists in organizing company events, when needed.Assist the CEO with basic administrative functions.Marketing & Trade Show SupportMaintains trade show items and keeps inventory log of equipment being used at trade shows.Registers company for upcoming trade shows.Orders exhibitor services.Coordinates ship dates for each trade show / event with shipping company.Assist in booking tradeshow accommodations for attendees.Sets up and organizes trade show tasks in WRIKE, SharePoint, Salesforce, and Pardot.Supports Marketing Manager in providing tradeshow status updates to the company.Leads meetings for each show to discuss logistics, strategy, and market research.Orders marketing material and creates weekly reports on statistics for social media and marketing efforts.Keeps inventory of giveaways / data sheets and reorders, when necessary.Performs other related duties as assigned by Marketing Manager.May attend or execute at a minimum four main shows and up to 15 smaller tradeshows annually that may require travel for up to one week.Qualifications:High school diploma/general education degree (GED) or Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with at least 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training. Education and experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered on a holistic basis.Computer skills required:MS Office Suite: intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointExperience using SharePoint and/or Salesforce or other CRMMust be flexible and highly energetic.Self-starter with highly developed time management and organizational skills.Highly dependable and takes ownership of goals set for the role.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate information clearly and persuasively.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
