Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club are looking to hire a hyper-creative Motion Designer/Animator for our broadcasts. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience using industry standard programs such as Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Cinema 4D. Familiarity with XPression is a plus. We're looking for a team player, someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has strong interpersonal skills. This individual will work closely with the producers for both the Utah Jazz and the new NHL team.

This position is full-time and based in Salt Lake City, Utah.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Create high-quality animations using a variety of programsProduce a wide variety of graphics for use on multiple platformsWork collaboratively within a team environmentCreate content for both our NBA and NHL teams, knowledge of these sports is preferred but not requiredSee project from pre to post productionAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAble to help in many areas of production when needed, showing off your creativity as much as possibleTake notes and execute in an on-time fashionExemplify the Smith Entertainment Group mission and values: transparency, all in, community obsessed, one team, and scrappyAccept other duties related to Utah Jazz and Utah Hockey Club, as assignedProtect the reputation of the companyCOMPETENCIES:

2+ years as a Graphic Artist, with expert-level knowledge of Adobe AfterEffects/Photoshop, and working knowledge of other key programs such as Cinema 4D, Blender, and/or HoudiniKnowledge of NHL and NBA is preferredBachelor's Degree is preferredIdeal candidate will be an organized and efficient worker, used to juggling multiple projects at the same timeExcellent communication, prioritization, and time management skillsPosition will be based in Salt Lake City.
