Job Description: Job Summary Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking individual who aims for the highest standards of excellence. The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and design both as part of a collaborative team and independently. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience are most likely to be successful, however those with unique career experience or who display clear potential for the role will be considered. Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan's integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice. Requirements (Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field experience preferred. Relevant professional work experience. Interest in completing professional licensing exams. Strong organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate with a diverse team. Knowledge of interiors and design concepts, practices and methods. Strong knowledge of Revit preferred. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Enscape and Bluebeam desired. LEED AP and/or WELL AP preferred. Roles and Responsibilities Works in tandem with Lead Interior Designer, Project Architect, Design Project Manager, Designers, Development, Construction and Consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction. Project Delivery: Participates in creating a complete, thorough set of interior design documents to meet project goals, milestones and schedule. Participate in interior detail documentation and constructability. Participates in development and implementation of an overall design palette that supports the aesthetic, budget, and functional goals of the project. Works with team to advise client on appropriate finish and materials selections. Participates in design meetings, consultant meetings and project team meetings. Solves problems and applies basic principles of design. Seeks guidance in resolving unusual or complex technical issues. Assists in interior design related code reviews. Assists with Ryan's QA/QC process and project specifications for interiors scope of work. Communicates deviations in project scope and works with team to resolve. Performs tasks with a high level of collaboration and sets an example for others to follow. Establishes and pursues annual goals, based on personal, professional and company growth in the industry. Contributes to Ryan culture through participation in office activities, initiatives and learning programs. Responsible for execution of Ryan's yearly review and goal setting process based on personal and professional, development goals. Actively participates in Ryan Companies' and Ryan A+E's 5-year vision/initiatives and 1-year business plans and goals. Ryan Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
