Job Description
Responsibilities will include the establishment of Revit/CAD files in support of renovation/new projects including civil, structural, Architectural, mechanical, electrical and security infrastructure designs for multiple Federal Clients. Responsibilities include, developing installation drawings, oversee project documentation, develop and maintain drafting standards, incorporate and back-check red-line drawings, equipment and engineering change databases.
Work directly with engineering teams and take direction to generate Three-dimensional drawings using Revit, Microstation and/or AutoCAD 2018 or later software. Create original drawings from hand sketches and design specifications from concept to completion. The selected candidate will draft layout designs per direction of an engineer/designer.
The candidate should be:
Experienced in Revit/Microstation/AutoCad.
Able to Create of BIM models, Revit families, and CAD based files for use in the creation contract documents(floor plans, elevations, details, sections, schedules and one-line diagrams).
Able to produce drawing packages in very fast paced environment, with multiple deadlines.
Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously while keeping files and documents organized.
** Able to Assist the CAD/BIM Department with CAD support, 3D solid modeling, project set-up, department standards, drawing templates, and construction package specific processes and
Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines in a virtual construction model.
ensuring drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards and styles
Job Requirements
High School or GED with 7-10 years of relevant experience, Associates Degree or Cad Training/schooling a plus
Candidate must have, at minimum, 7+ years of experience working as a multi-disciplined drafter with experience in Architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural.
Candidate must have current Revit, Microstation and AutoCADexperience.
Must be able to work in teams and independently and meet deadlines.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam and Navisworks

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
