We are looking for a Graphic Designer for a top beauty company in Jersey City, NJ! This position may include graphic designing support for product line, website and materials, packing layouts to concept, design, mechanicals, comps and production of promotional materials, understanding the 2-D and 3-D process, responsibility for writing copy in support of advertising and promotional programs, working closely with Art Director and Creative team to develop copy, and developing name and tag lines for new products.Pay Rate: $47/hrResponsibilities:
Collaborate with project leads on a daily basis regarding current projectsPartner with our creative operations and management team to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of qualityAssist with photoshoot needs from pre-production shot list development, comps, on set support, through retouching rounds and final photography deliveryOwn digital layouts from start to finish, through rounds of feedback from internal and cross-functional partnersMaintain our brand DNA within everything you do while pushing it forwardCommunicate with cross-functional departments including product development and marketing as needed
Required Qualifications:
Team player, excels at collaborating and with a positive attitudeExcellent communications skills: we are a small team that works closely together through development and feedback to ensure alignment internally and with all cross-functional partnersExcellent design and layout skillsPhotography experience, ideal candidate has experience in pre and post-production including shot list development and retouching notesTargeting 5 years of relevant experience, experience in luxury a plusExcellent in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint, + nice to have Figma and After Effects experienceSelf-motivated and flexible; able to adapt quickly to changeBachelor's degree in graphic design, art or related field preferred but not requiredIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
