GIS (Geographical Information Systems) Specialist for an exciting long-term opportunity to undertake essential activities and tasks involving implementation, technical support, and Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) data sales. This role will include working with ESRI products, Microsoft Database products, GoToAssist remote software, and PVA data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project implementation, Geographic Information System software, project management, and IT service management. This role requires a proactive individual capable of driving successful projects and collaborating with both GIS and non-GIS employees.Key Responsibilities:GIS parcel creation and/or splitting parcels.Linking GIS data to tax roll.Installing and maintaining ESRI software on over 800 computers statewide.Selling GIS and Tax Roll Data.Print paper maps.Providing technical support by phone and/or by remote softwareCreate GIS sketch layers to improve building measurement accuracy for PVAsLearn and maintain GIS sketching softwareDefine, document, and oversee GIS solutions and issues within PVA officesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in GIS (Geographical Information Systems) or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in GISExperience with project management, and production support activities.Proven track record of successfully leading implementation planning for projects and initiatives.Strong technical and analytical skills within GIS products.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of IT service management principles and frameworks.Knowledge of ESRI products: ArcGIS Desktop 10.X and ArcGIS ProPersonal Attributes:Strong leadership and collaboration skills.Quick learner.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Proactive and results-oriented mindset.Focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.Adaptability and resilience in responding to changing business needs and priorities.
