in Los Angeles, CA who will be responsible for creating and developing designs for manufactured products, ranging from everyday consumer goods to specialized industrial equipment. Their role combines artistic creativity with technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements

:

Brainstorm and conceptualize design ideas based on client or market requirements.Create sketches, renderings, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.Develop detailed designs using CAD software and other tools.Conduct research on materials, manufacturing processes, and market trends to ensure designs are feasible and innovative.Work closely with engineers, marketing teams, and clients to understand design requirements and constraints.Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate design outputs into the product development process.Build and test prototypes to evaluate design concepts for functionality, performance, and manufacturability.Iterate designs based on feedback from testing and collaborate with stakeholders to refine final designs.Prepare and present design proposals, progress reports, and final presentations to clients and management.Create documentation such as technical drawings, specifications, and design guidelines for production.Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, ergonomic, and safety requirements.Conduct design reviews and participate in quality control processes during manufacturingConduct market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and trends.Use insights to develop designs that resonate with target audiences and differentiate products in the market.Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design , Product Design, or a related field.Proven experience as an industrial designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing design projects.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other design tools.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Compensation: $120,000 -

130,000
