Syngin, a subsidiary of the global shipping company Wallenius Wilhelmsen, is a key player in the Digital Supply Chain Solutions global business unit. Based in North America, Syngin specializes in providing innovative transport solutions for the Remarketing and Fleet management industries. Our mission is to streamline and enhance the logistics of asset transportation, ensuring efficiency and reliability for our clients.

This position will be part of the Business Development & Supply Chain Advisory. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding Syngin's market presence by exploring the Remarketing and Fleet management sectors. Your primary focus will be on identifying new leads, cultivating relationships, and securing contracts to organize the transport of assets for these companies. WHAT YOU'LL DODeveloping and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve business growth in the Remarketing and Fleet management markets, supporting Business Development & Supply Chain Advisory.Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their transport needs, and providing tailored solutions.Negotiating and finalizing contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of transport solutions.Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve.Preparing and presenting sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the transport, Remarketing, or Fleet management industries.Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

An advanced degree in Business or a related field.An established network within the Remarketing and Fleet management sectors.Experience working with or within a subsidiary of a global company.Knowledge of digital supply chain management solutions.
