We're Looking For An:

Associate Art Director who will report to the Creative Director and is responsible for directly leading a team of photographers and visual brand designers to create and manage visual content, including compelling brand identities, packaging, and photography across all channels that aligns with the company's direct-to-consumer marketing objectives in the health & wellness, premium pet food, and beauty markets.

What You'll Be Doing:Provide leadership, guidance, professional & mentorship to a team of photographers & visual brand & production designers. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that inspires innovation & excellence.Develop and execute with the Creative Director a comprehensive visual content strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing goals & individual brand identities. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our visual content remains fresh, relevant, and engaging.Oversee the conceptualization, planning, and execution of visual content across various platforms, including but not limited to social media, packaging, printed materials, websites, email campaigns, and advertising materials. Create and ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines & maintain a consistent visual style.With support from the brand PMO, this role will manage projects & brands simultaneously, from initial ideation to final delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including brand, marketing, UX design, PR, Print/Packaging Production, and content creation teams, to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of all visual assets.Maintain high standards of quality craftsmanship in all visual content produced by the team. Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed expectations.Develop and manage budgets for visual content production, including equipment, resources, and freelance talent. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost of optimization with compromising quality.Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop creative concepts and execute visual campaigns.Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

Proficiency with the latest creative and graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.Strong knowledge of photography principles, techniques, and studio management. Social intelligence for managing creative teams.Receptive to giving and receiving feedback.Exceptional communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Practical knowledge of packaging design.Keen attention to detail.Expertise in evaluating creative professionals, support staff, and potential candidates to build high-performing team.Deep understanding of consumer branding, marketing, and consumer behavior.Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Photography, or a related field.Master's degree in graphic design visual arts, photography, or related field (preferred)7 years of experience in visual contentCreative/marketing agency-level experience creation, with at least 3 years in a design and marketingFamiliarity with direct-to-consumer visual managerial role.Minimum 1 year experience or equivalent knowledge managing a commercial or agency photo department.Golden Perks & Benefits:

The base salary range is $105,700-$141,000 plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
