Opportunity OverviewReporting to the Executive Director of Business Operations, the Director of Field & Marketing Operations is responsible for supporting the North America Business Unit through successful execution of customer and field facing tactical and strategic initiatives. In this role, the individual will develop, drive and maintain key processes and work with the technology team to optimize system capabilities.

The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and agile, partnering with brand and non-brand teams, working across Medical, Marketing, Sales, Managed Access, Legal and Patient Engagement. Create and maintain processes and tools that enable effective and efficient execution of tactics that drive the achievement of Rhythm’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

Work with internal partners to ensure deployment of materials utilized by the field teams are approved for use, via logistical oversight of the LMR processOversee the production and management of printed/digital assets, order fulfillment, inventory management/warehousing, and delivery of assetsManage the coordination and execution of speaker bureau programs – working with internal teams on content development, budgeting, contracting and communication of program results and updatesCoordinate and manage the logistical and production aspects of internal and external meetings in partnership with North America Leadership and training teamCoordinate the North America Business Unit presence at national and regional conferences (planning, registration and execution)Align home office and field communicationsManage vendors and consultants as needed including creation of purchase orders and execution of contractsCoach and mentor team of direct reports

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree preferredA minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, including time within pharmaceutical industry3+ years of people management experienceAble to demonstrate progressive responsibilities across commercialization rolesStrong orientation to connect strategy to tactics, process flow mapping with attention to detailsAbility to synthesize and communicate actionable insights to internal partner through oral and written presentations.Ensures all Compliance, Privacy, and Legal processes are adhered to and considered when creating and maintaining programsHighly effective communication skills and the ability to cultivate partnerships with a diverse group of internal stakeholdersDemonstrated success in managing numerous projects simultaneouslyApproximately 20% travel - Business meetings, Congresses & business partners

This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs.

This role may involvesome travel.

More about RhythmOur lead asset, IMCIVREE (setmelanotide), is a precision medicine designed to treat hyperphagia, an insatiable, pathological hunger characterized by abnormal food-seeking behaviors, and early- or rapid-onset severe obesity caused by an impairment of a pathway in the hypothalamus called the melanocortin-4 receptor (MC4R) pathway. IMCIVREE is the first and only approved therapy for certain rare MC4R pathway diseases in the United States, Europe, Great Britain and several other countries. In collaboration with leading experts
