About the RoleAs the Manager, App Experience you will help grow the app channel through strategic and inspirational marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for supporting app specific initiatives by establishing strategy for the app experience and push notifications, as well as product features with cross functional partners. The role must balance current strategies while also leading optimizations and new initiatives to ensure the channel is growing, working closely with partners on planning and execution.What You'll Do

Build strategy to grow the app channel and keep the user engaged by driving a robust marketing program that communicates to the customer leveraging various marketing channels.

Lead cross functional planning of exclusive events and content; playing a role in hind sights and gathering ongoing competitive insights to inform strategy.

Own strategy, briefing, and execution of push notification inclusive of lifecycle, trigger and retention.

Lead app-first testing within testing pods, sharing results and scaling with appropriate partners.

Partner with cross functional teams to perform campaign QA and ensure flawless execution.

Pull data for reporting results to stakeholders and cross-functional partners; develop recaps with recommendations to optimize campaigns and business performance.

Who You Are

Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, who can work effectively and build strong relationships with business partners

Able to manage change; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and brings structure to ambiguous situations

Familiarity with web analytics; exceptional analytical skills and the ability to build out new reports based on needs; robust knowledge of Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify and communicate complex ideas; able to glean insights and tell a story from the data

Experience using logic and methods to solve difficult problems and derive effective solutions

Knowledge of both growth and retention (frequency) strategies; experience in lifecycle programs a plus

5+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, loyalty, ecommerce, or related field, focused on driving the development, execution, and analysis of marketing or lifecycle programs
