Responsibilities: • Meet sales team goals and yearly sales targets, develop and implement short and long-term marketing strategies • Write comprehensive and precise sales reports showing the financial statements for sales promotion, direct sales, and outline of marketing plans • Build customer loyalty while generating new revenue by developing long-term relationships • Assess the company's success by consulting with sales managers and stakeholders • Utilize marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other techniques to continuously seek new business Qualifications: • Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department • High diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or hospitality • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Prior sales and marketing experience of 5+ years, including some in a sales management role, is required • **** 2-4 years of hotel sales and marketing-related experience • Bachelor's degree in sales, business administration, marketing or communications • Possesses prior leadership experience in directly managing a department within a similar hotel scope. Must possess experience with Microsoft Office systems, Delphi, Concerto, and access database tools • Highly developed written and verbal English communication skills to effectively negotiate, persuade, influence, and sell are critical • Proven track record of business milestones Compensation: $92,000 - $95,000 yearly
