As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will play a key role in creating award-winning projects with a focus on hospitality and community-based approaches.About Us:Based in Atlanta, we are a multi-disciplinary firm with over 50 professionals, encompassing Architectural, Interior Design, and Land Planning studios. By seamlessly integrating these studios, we deliver projects that are recognized nationally for their excellence, particularly in senior living design, airport lounge development, and other commercial spaces. Our team is diverse, collaborative, and deeply compassionate about the communities we design for.Position Scope & Responsibilities:We are looking for a dedicated and passionate team member to fill the role of Senior Architectural Designer, experienced in:Commercial projectsSenior livingHospitalityMulti-family residential housingMixed-use developmentsKey Responsibilities:Lead the design process, leveraging technical details, space planning, and programming principles.Collaborate closely with firm Principals, Project Managers, Project Architects, and Staff in conceptualizing and executing projects.Participate in project interviews and present concepts to clients.Conduct in-house design reviews.Create project designs and coordinate with building design consultants.Monitor drawing progress and ensure quality.Provide training and feedback for junior designers.Utilize excellent graphic communication skills, including sketching and proficiency in Revit.Manage all stages of traditional architectural project delivery (SD, DD, CD & CA).Collaborate with senior management and project stakeholders to understand project goals and make informed design decisions.Assist project managers in client account management, project scheduling, and budgeting.Qualifications and Skills:Ability to work in a team-oriented, creative, and collaborative environment.Expertise in space planning, rendering, and presentation graphics.Understanding of the programmatic and space-planning requirements of Senior Living projects.Ability to organize and execute work based on multiple project team priorities and schedules.Proficiency in software packages including Revit, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), Google SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.Understanding of three-dimensional forms and models.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Initiative and responsibility for specific tasks.Focus, efficiency, and dependability with a willingness to assist when needed.Enthusiasm for continued education and development of new skills.Other Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of experience in Senior Living (experience in hospitality, mixed-use, and/or multi-family residential will also be considered).Architectural Degree from an accredited college or university.Licensure preferred but not required.Professional experience in an architectural design office using 3D modeling as a design tool.Prior experience in hospitality, senior living, mixed-use, and/or residential projects is a plus.Why Join Us:We value innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
