Position Summary:The Creative Designer contributes to a variety of creative projects, focusing principally on the graphic elements of client communications and multimedia content. They produce final designs for print and digital media, including emails, posters, fliers, web banners and tiles, postcards, video and more. They will occasionally work on mock-ups, as well. They work with the Creative Director and other designers to define and incorporate the visual identity of the brand and the brand of the clients that we serve. The designer should have graphic design experience and be comfortable using Adobe programs and have a strong willingness to learn new software and concepts. The ideal candidate will be creative, motivated and detail oriented.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Create well-designed communications with client specific content (fliers, html emails, banners, etc.)Think creatively to brand wellness programs, design logos and build visual identitiesResearch and report on contemporary design trends (typography, composition, etc.)Create various creative assets for client web portals for developersCreate mock-ups, as neededCreate website banners and tilesCreate graphics for use in applicationsFind and utilize stock photography in communicationsUse a critical eye to review and critique a variety of visual communicationsAdhere to existing branding guidelines or specific client branding guidelinesCreate new template designs for various communications, such as fliers and emailsCreate social media content (infographics and other creative content)Create and edit video communicationsPrepare and/or design PowerPoint decksEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Required:A bachelor's degree in design or a related fieldA minimum of 1-2 years experience in graphic designCritical Competencies:Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailKnowledge of typographyStrong ability to problem solve and work independently as well as within a teamVideo/Audio editing experienceHTML (including HTML5) and CSSAbility to balance multiple client communications and projects at a time
