Digital Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Designer with a skillset in web design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing visually compelling graphics and creating user-friendly web interfaces. This role requires a blend of strong graphic design skills and an understanding of UX/UI principles to ensure our digital materials are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the team to ensure design consistency across various media outlets.Design and develop visually appealing graphics for digital media, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and marketing materials.Create and maintain user-friendly web interfaces, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.Collaborate with marketing, development, and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions.Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs for optimal user experience.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in graphic design and UX/UI to continually improve the quality and impact of our designs.Optimize graphics and web designs for performance, ensuring fast load times and responsiveness across devices.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.3+ years of professional experience in graphic design and web UX/UI design.Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).Strong portfolio showcasing a range of graphic design and web UX/UI projects.Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback clearly.Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, five days a week.
