We have an exciting opportunity for a

Commercial Unit Marketing Manager - Crop Protection . If you have a passion for providing solutions to customers and supporting a high-performing team, this is a great opportunity for you! Field-based crop protection (CP) marketing role focused on achieving CP gross margin and growth targets for the Southern Commercial Unit through successful new product launch planning & execution, leading CP district leads & territory managers through comprehensive retail business planning, providing input on marketing programs and implementing/localizing US product strategies & programs to fit local customer positioning. The key role metrics are annual Net Sales dollars, Gross Margin dollars for the CU and Enlist market share. Focused geography is the 11 states in the Southern and Southeastern U.S., with candidate location preferred in the southern geography or close proximity. What You'll Do:

Successful product launches

- participate in new product concept teams; coordinate with marketing, sales, integrated field science, and other key stakeholders to develop & implement product launch plans that include value prop communication, positioning vs competitors, highlighting strengths and weakness, local training, local promotions, etcRetail business planning

- develop a thorough & consistent process to annually lead districts & territories through to identify business goals for each retailer that align to the district & territory targets. Details to include a prioritization of retailer call support, sales goals, ROI metrics & goals, training needs, relationship support, resource/contract asks. This role will lead a review of plans in the district & area to gain approval for contract goals and resource ask. Coordination with the retail channel leader, program administration & sales training are key connectionsDistrict & Southern CU Level Positioning & Promotion

- work with CP marketing & marcomm teams for any local positioning and promotion that is needed to target US strategies & offers.Enlist Focal Point for Southern CU

- Lead the Enlist Advocacy Team, Cross-Ties & selling strategies the with Seeds business, formulate and lead the Southern strategy for significant Enlist market share gains over the 5 year period.Other

Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or ag-related experience requiredWhat Skills You Need:

Ten plus (10+) years of Marketing/Sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility, and demonstrated skills in project leadership, planning, and implementation.Knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and of the CP business.Understanding of business strategy and demonstrated ability to translate strategy into business opportunities.Ability to develop creative programs/responses to market opportunities.Ability to lead project teams and collaborate within a team.Ability to build relationships, interact and communicate information with research & development, and sales and marketing organizations.Ability to synthesize market data and customer insight to develop innovative responses to market opportunities.Demonstrated skills in collaboration, influencing and negotiation.Benefits - How We'll Support You:
