Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.LeadershipDevelop and execute an operations and manufacturing strategy for the Lindstrom site to ensure profitable business growth.Work with the company strategic planning team to align site strategies, tactics, and objectives to overall company strategies and objectives.Provide leadership to maintain a strong continuous improvement culture through active employee engagement.Drive a prioritized continuous improvement initiative at the Lindstrom to eliminate waste.Set high standards for Environmental, Health and Safety by leading by example, managing all aspects of EH&S, its planning, compliance, auditing, and control.Ensure the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of materials through all operational aspects (manufacturing, shipping/receiving, and maintenance).Lead and manage a culture of ‘entrepreneurism’ and a high “sense of urgency” related to customer responsiveness.Develop employee engagement through a collaborative management approach and strong presence on the shop floor.Manage operational performance to meet or exceed established objectives based on company and site strategies to become world class.Collaborate with Finance to establish annual site operational budgets and reforecasts as needed.Manage capacity plans to support existing business and planned growth and overall equipment update plans as needed.Lead by example, where professionalism is the standard, and each team member is empowered and accountable.Team with and support other Chandler sites to develop and optimize customer solutions.Develop a community of problem solvers that leverage critical thinking to improve the customer experience and business results.Coach and mentor leadership skills of direct reports and next level reports; develop the human resources within the business.Ensure manufacturing output achieves planned shipment and profitability targets with On-time start and OTIF delivery.Drive efficiency, productivity, and equipment utilization improvements.Manage meaningful and focused operational KPI’s.Effectively manage operating costs to the annual budget.Champion all aspects of quality and reduce non-conformances, eliminate the re-work and rationalization/concessions mentality.Develop standardized processes and procedures to support “right first time”, while optimizing productivity.Work closely with the Director of Procurement to balance inventory and increase inventory turns.Develop a preventive and predictive maintenance strategy to reduce downtime and improve equipment availability.Develop a strong team that collaborates across all functions and facilities.Lead and support project teams in the delivery of business improvement initiatives.Manage the transition of New Product Development from the development cycle into production and manufacturing.Partner with Business Development in managing customer relationships and commercial matters.Required skills:Minimum 7 years of increasing manufacturing and operations team management experience in contract manufacturing.Manufacturing and precision machining manufacturing experience.Excellent understanding of manufacturing business finance, costs, P&L, and cash.Ability to be a change agent with a desire to win and bias for action.Strong analytical ability to independently distill complex problems into manageable, actionable solutions.Innovative, thinks “out of the box”.
