Mold Designer

Title: Mold DesignerLocation: Cuyahoga FallsSalary: $75,000 to $85,000 Plus Profit SharingShift: Day Shift position

PrideStaff is conducting a search on behalf of our fast-growing Cuyahoga Falls client for an experienced Mold Designer. The Mold Designer will be responsible for design and creation of molds in this high-precision manufacturing company. The Mold Designer will report to the Manufacturing Manager and be part of a strong engineering team committed to delivering great products and services to their defense and aerospace clients. This position is well compensated with a profit-sharing bonus, has great benefits and a good team culture.

Principal Duties and/ or ResponsibilitiesEnsures manufacturability to produce products which satisfy the customer's purchase order.Generate material lists for projects.Ensure drawings, material lists, and models are neat and accurate.Supply information to subcontractors, as required, to ensure the received product is accurate and meets our quality standards.Check material lists, 3D models, 2D prints of other Designers as instructed.Coordinate the information of manufacturing deviations, as necessary.Updates prints and models based on relative information determined by feedback from cross functional teams.Work with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.Any other duties assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Mechanical Engineering Degree desired or four to six years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Vision acuity may be required.Excellent problem-solver with strong quality customer focus mindset.Possess leadership skills and be able to relay instructions clearly.Ability to handle multiple assignments with completing priorities.Willing to train or assist in training of personnel. Overtime may be required.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Proficient in SolidWorks Design software.Working knowledge of GD&T.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
