OverviewWe are seeking a talented Mold Designer to join our team at our facility in Kentwood, MI, 49508. As a Mold Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs for molds used in the injection molding process. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, injection molding experience, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Responsibilities
Create detailed designs for molds using CAD software
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications
Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accuracy in mold designs
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
Work with CAD/CAM software to optimize mold designs for production
Qualifications
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Experience with CAD software
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
Prior experience in injection molding
Understanding of GD&T principles
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
