Franchino Mold & Engineering Co. is seeking a highly motivated Designer to assist our Engineering department with designing plastic injection molds and die cast dies. Experience with NX is strongly preferred, but not required if the candidate has experience with other design software. Ability to learn and understand the basic function and operation of molds and dies. Support Quotation Manager by gathering information, submitting RFQ's for specialty items, rough mold layouts. Experience with Excel required. Must be self-motivated and able to meet planned timelines.

``` - Effectively communicates with all disciplines (customer, vendors, other FMEC personnel) and effectively coordinates all information necessary to complete a die/mold design.

``` - Works independently and makes good decisions on own behalf.

Experience: 1-3 years.
Education: Associates Degree, or pursuit of a degree, in Manufacturing Engineering Technology Design preferred.
