**Job Title: Materials Coordinator****Job Description**The Materials Coordinator assists in maintaining the manufacturing system with accurate and timely data. This role involves utilizing system reports to contact the supply base to obtain commit dates for open purchase orders, expediting open purchase orders, and amending commit dates in SAP for commit date accuracy. Additional responsibilities include maintaining component order parameters, updating data integrity based on supplier responses, clearing receiving and QC problem shelves, and providing supply base with weekly open order reports. The Coordinator also assists buyers by sending faxes and running workcell specific reports as needed, and may occasionally input purchase orders as directed by Planner/Buyers.**Hard Skills**+ Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of software packages+ Ability to operate a personal computer using a Windows based operating system+ Proficiency in SAP+ Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret graphs+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure**Soft Skills**+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions+ Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aid+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions+ Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in Fremont, California.**Work Environment**This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with various groups including managers, clients, customers, and the general public. The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations is crucial.
